Experience is preferred, however, we will train the right person. Responsibilities: Assist veterinarians during appointments, surgeries, and other medical proceduresMonitor patients before, during, and after procedures, and record vital signsAdminister medications and treatments as directed by veterinariansCollect and prepare laboratory samples for testingPerform dental cleanings and assist with other procedures as neededClean and maintain medical equipment and exam roomsProvide exceptional customer service to our clientsOther duties as assigned Requirements: Entry-level candidates welcome!1 year of experience as a veterinary assistant or technician would be a plusDesire to learn and growAbility to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionatelyAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsThis position can be highly physical, so the ability to lift, stoop, bend, and carry up to 50 pounds is a must.
