Veterinary Receptionist

We are currently looking for a reliable Receptionist to add to our team. The ideal candidate must have a good work ethic, be self-motivated, and be a strong team player. We are a busy, growing clinic, and we depend on our caring, compassionate, and reliable staff to create a positive experience for our clients and patients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, and setting up new clients and patientsPreparation and maintenance of medical recordsChecking clients in and outAssisting in filling some prescriptions, over-the-counter sales, and financial transactionsManage mailing, filing, and computer operationsAssisting technicians/doctors as neededFront office and reception area maintenance Job Requirements: Veterinary experience is preferred but not requiredMust have at least 1 year of customer service experienceMust be accountable, punctual, and show up for work with a can-do, positive attitudeMust have a passion for excellence in animal careMust have a flexible schedule with availability on weekends and some holidaysMust be receptive to training with a positive team attitudeVeterinary software experience (especially AVImark) is not required, but would be a plus
