T26/27 ELEMENTARY SPECIAL ED TEACHER - (CANDIDATE POOL)

Qualifications:Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in Special Education.Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required. Experience:Teaching experience in special education Knowledge of best instructional practicesAbility to integrate technologyExperience in educational and instructional leadershipDual endorsed preferredBilingual skills preferred Responsibilities:Implements instructional programs that meet the needs, interests and abilities of students using appropriate instructional materialsMaintains safe and orderly environmentCommunicates with parents/guardiansMaintains complete and accurate student recordsCollaborates with school administrators, other teachers, instructional assistants, parents, and community membersMonitors and assesses student achievementAttends ongoing professional learning and meetings Salary:Salary based on the 2025-26 T-Scale salary schedule.
