Solution Engineer - Transmission

Salary: ฿30,000 – ฿40,000 per monthPurpose: To strategically plan, design, and develop the company's infrastructure services and solutions, enabling the delivery of high-value offerings to customers. This department establishes the technical direction for the company, influencing sales, human resources, contract, and delivery strategies.Function Description:Acts as the subject matter expert on all transmission products and services, especially in DWDM / OTN technology.Perform network planning, design, and implementation of the company's DWDM / OTN transmission network.Maintain the network's capacity, reliability, and performance to meet business requirements.Coordinate and manages subcontractor, supplier, vendor and partner relationships and contracts for DWDM / OTN equipment and services.Develops and implements network expansion and improvement plans.Monitors network performance and support operation team to troubleshoots technical issues.Provides technical solutions including budgetary plan of both CAPEX and OPEX for expansion and improvement of company’s network infrastructure and new services.Manage and control inventory with the warehouse team.Collaborates with project management team for implementation the new services according to the customer requirement.Collaborates with operation team for service level analysis in order to improve and optimize quality of services.Job Description:Responsibilities:Plan, design and recommend solution, and implement DWDM / OTN network solutions.Plan, develop and implement network capacity planning, improvement and expansion strategies.Ensure DWDM / OTN equipment functions per design; proactively improve the DWDM network.Design and verify link budget for optical fiber networks and identify losses.Perform wavelength allocation and utilization, planning and configuration on DWDM / OTN networks.Responsible for detailed engineering specifications, project coordination, and equipment installation.Coordinate and manage subcontractor, supplier, vendor and partner relationships for DWDM equipment and services.Ensure network reliability and performance through proactive monitoring and maintenance.Support operation team for troubleshooting and resolve complex network issues.Collaborates with project management team for implementation the new services according to the customer requirement.Provide budgetary plan for both CAPEX and OPEX for new services, network improvement and expansions.Manage the budget for the transmission network.Manage and control inventory with the warehouse team.Analyze network data to optimize DWDM performance and cost.Create and maintain network documentation and standards.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of work experience in DWDM / OTN network design and implementation.Strong knowledge and understanding of optical transmission technologies such as DWDM / OTN.Experience with test tools, network management and monitoring tools for optical transmission network.Able to analyze the optical transmission network to provide the best possible solution, traffic data for cost studies and maintenance purposes, gather and report numerical data and produce statistical reports.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Willing to learn new technologies.Energetic personality, service mind and ability to work collaboratively with a team.Able to handle multiple tasks, work accurately, work under pressure, and respond quickly to tight deadlines.
