Respiratory Therapist

We’re looking for a Respiratory Therapist (RT) to handle as-needed in-home sleep therapy setups for CPAP and BiPAP patients. This is a 1099 independent contractor role paid per completed setup (not hourly), and mileage is reimbursed. You’ll visit patients at home to set up their PAP equipment and teach them how to use it, and you’ll only be scheduled when visits are needed. What You’ll Do:Complete in-home CPAP/BiPAP setups per provider orders and prescribed settingsFit masks, help patients choose the right interface and size, and adjust for comfort and sealTeach patients how to use, clean and maintain their equipment, plus what supplies they needMake sure patients understand their therapy goals and why staying compliant mattersReinforce provider instructionsTroubleshoot basic fit, comfort, leak and equipment issuesDocument setups, settings, patient education and patient statusCoordinate with the DME and clinical teams as needed Pay Structure:Paid per completed setup/visitMileage reimbursement1099 independent contractor (PRN)Flexible scheduling: accept jobs as they’re available Requirements:Active RT license in the state of assignment (RRT or CRT)Experience with CPAP/BiPAP setups, mask fitting and patient educationHome health, DME or sleep experience preferredStrong patient education and communication skillsReliable transportationComfortable with mobile/in-home visits Job Type:1099 Independent ContractorPRN / As-NeededMobile Field Role EEO and inclusionWe’re an equal opportunity partner.
