What You'll Do As the Nurse Scheduler, you'll coordinate staffing schedules for the nursing department, ensuring appropriate coverage for each shift while supporting operational needs and resident care. You'll communicate regularly with nursing staff regarding scheduling needs, manage schedule changes, coordinate shift coverage, maintain staffing records, and assist with call-ins and open shifts. You'll work closely with nursing leadership to support staffing goals, maintain compliance with scheduling requirements, and help create a positive experience for both team members and residents. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills will be key to your success in this role. What We're Looking For Current CNA and/or Medication Aide certification in Nebraska Previous healthcare or long-term care experience preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Basic computer proficiency and experience with scheduling systems preferred Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused approach Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Make a Difference Every Day The Nurse Scheduler plays an essential role in ensuring our residents receive the care and support they deserve.
