Medical Coder and Biller

Northwestern OB-GYN Consultants is seeking an experienced Medical Biller/Coder to join our busy private OB-GYN practice. This role is responsible for accurate coding, charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up to ensure timely reimbursement.Responsibilities:Accurately assign CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codesManage OB global billing, deliveries, procedures, and gynecologic servicesCode and bill ultrasound services (Level I, Level II, Dopplers, etc.)Submit claims electronically and resolve rejections/denialsPost insurance and patient paymentsMonitor and follow up on outstanding ARCommunicate with providers regarding documentation and coding clarificationEnsure compliance with payer guidelines and HIPAA regulationsQualifications:2+ years of medical billing and coding experience requiredOB/GYN experience strongly preferredStrong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codingeCW &Epic EMR/billing experience requiredCPC or equivalent certification RequiredDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsRequirementsCPC or equivalent certificationBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork Location: In person
