Maintenance Supervisor – Affordable Housing Community (Aurora, IL) A well-established property management company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to support a busy Section 8 apartment community in Aurora, IL.Position Overview: The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all property maintenance operations, ensuring the community is safe, well-maintained, and operating efficiently. This role is hands-on and includes supervising maintenance staff, coordinating work orders, and managing preventative maintenance programs.Key Responsibilities:Lead, train, and support on-site maintenance team members Complete and assign work orders, unit turns, and preventative maintenance Ensure all building systems and equipment are functioning properly Maintain compliance with HUD/Section 8 requirements and property standards Oversee vendor scheduling, project timelines, and maintenance budgets Promote a safe working environment and ensure adherence to safety protocols Respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed
