L2 Technical Lead (Banking and Financial Services)

• Assist in prioritization of IT projects as part of the business planning / demand planning cycle for the Units• Align with the project manager on the overall business outcomes for the modules and delivery timelines• Monitor and execute assigned projects as per SDLC and Governance process• Accountable to deliver the technical deliverables of the projects within scope, schedule and budget commitments• Accountable to manage the vendors involved in the project, ensuring all technical deliverables are met• Identify and log project issues; oversee the resolution process; and escalate issues when necessary• Lead, when necessary, re-scope the projects and update project plans accordingly• Lead the project closure ensuring all deliverables are achieved and documented; and relevant lessons learned / case studies are developed• Assist in selecting and on-going management of vendors / suppliers for supporting selected projects• Harness project best practices and contribute to the overall knowledge base• Train new tech leads with project delivery processes• Develop project plan, scope, estimates; manage the implementation of IT Projects ensuring on-time and within budget delivery while meeting business requirements and ensuring compliance with solution architecture• Align across other tech leads and report to the IT project manager(s) in context of the project• Responsible for setting and achieving the team's goals, along with making sure that employees follow major technical decisionsQualifications:• Should have 5+ years of hands-on experience in building and delivering solutions• Prior experience in working on loan origination (or other loan management related) systems is a plus• Excellent understanding and experience with design principles• Must have excellent knowledge of the technology industry• Knowledge of loan origination and/or loan management is a plus• Must have strong command of programming languages and system codes to handle technical complexities for maximum efficiency regardless of tech-stack / language in question
