If you’re ready to make a difference and enjoy a lively work atmosphere, we’d love to have you on board. -Location: Manoa (Honolulu, HI 96848) -Position: Custodial/Housekeeping -Employment Job Type: Full-time -Number of Hours: 40-hour work week. -Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Days off: Monday and Tuesday) -Hourly Pay Rate: $18.00 -Key Responsibilities: -Ability to stand and walk for extended period throughout the work shift. -Willingness to work all weather conditions -Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as: Ground floor, lobby front desk, vending area corridors, lounges kitchen/dining area, laundry room, utility rooms, elevators, restrooms, offices, stairwells, ramps, benches, planters, sidewalks, landscape areas around the building perimeter, bicycle shed, landing areas, janitorial closets, and driveway/parking lot. -Stand and walk for extended periods -Communicate effectively and comprehend English -Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum for indoor cleaning, and use a handheld leaf blower for outdoor areas -Clean restrooms and restock supplies -Disinfect frequently touched surfaces -Collect and dispose of trash in designated areas -Lift trash from bins, bend, and navigate staircases -Push trash bins as needed -Report any maintenance or repair needs to supervisor. -Perform any additional tasks assigned by your H.B.M. supervisor. -Skills/Qualifications: -Must pass HBM prescreen check -High school diploma or equivalent is preferred -Previous janitorial or custodian experience is preferred; we are willing to train. -Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English. -Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team. -Strong public relations and communication skills -Applicants should be capable of performing basic manual labor, cleaning common areas, and frequently lifting, pushing, pressing, pulling, and carrying a minimum of 30 lbs. (up to 50 lbs.). -Applicants must also be able to reach overhead, grasp objects, bend, kneel, crawl, squat, climb, stretch, walk up and down stairs, use elevators, climb ladders, and stand throughout their shifts.
